All Scripture Is Breathed Out by God

^10 (A)You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness, ¹¹ my persecutions and sufferings that happened to me ^(B)at Antioch, ^(C)at Iconium, and ^(D)at Lystra—which persecutions I endured; yet ^(E)from them all ^(F)the Lord rescued me. ¹² Indeed, all who desire to ^(G)live a godly life in Christ Jesus ^(H)will be persecuted, ¹³ while ^(I)evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and ^(J)being deceived.

¹⁵ if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth. ¹⁶ Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness:

11 ^(A)Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

³ not ^(A)domineering over those in your charge, but ^(B)being examples to the flock.

²⁴ Not that we ^(A)lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, for you stand firm ^(B)in your faith.

¹¹ For ^(A)I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you—

¹⁵ So I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.

¹⁸ For I will not venture to speak of anything except ^(A)what Christ has accomplished through me ^(B)to bring the Gentiles to obedience—by word and deed,
